Attendance at Sewing Bees
- KBB will comply with the COVID-19 Safety Plan prepared by Kiama Council for Community centres and halls effective 13 June 2019 and update 3 January 2021
- KBB sewing bees recommenced for members on Wednesday 1 July 2020 and will continue to be held weekly on Wednesday and Thursday mornings as per pre COVID-19 arrangements.
- Attendance at sewing bees will be limited to 12 members per session – six inside and six outside.
- Members must not attend if they have any symptoms associated with COVID-19, have returned from overseas within the last 14 days, visited hotspot areas in the last 14 days or have been in contact with anyone who has had COVID-19 in last 14 days.
- Non-members should not visit the shed without approval. Any maintenance works, deliveries or pick-ups should be arranged via the KBB Co-ordinator.
- Members are not to enter the Clubhouse outside allocated working bee times without the prior permission of the KBB Co-ordinator. Anyone given permission to access the Clubhouse must sanitise their hands before entering and sign in using the COVID-19 Contact Tracing Register using the NSW QR code provided by Kiama Council.
- The number of workstations in the shed will be reduced to help maintain social distancing requirements.
- The number of workstations set up outside will be limited and spaced a minimum of 1.5m apart to ensure social distancing.
- Anyone attending a sewing bee will be required to read the COVID-19 Entry Restrictions displayed at the Clubhouse (and on the Chubhouse Facebook Page and R3 website), sanitise their hands and then sign in to the COVID-19 Contact Tracing Register using the NSW QR code provided by Kiama Council.
- Hand Sanitiser must be used before attending sewing bees and entering the Clubhouse.
- Morning tea will be held outdoors. Members are encouraged to bring your own tea/coffee/water bottles and snacks and avoid sharing. If any food is to be shared, one person it to be responsible for serving and everyone must practice hand hygiene before and after service.
- The sharing of sewing equipment is to be reduced and workstations and machines must be cleaned with detergent and disinfectant between use. Members are encouraged to bring their own scissors and tap measures, if possible.
- The Clubhouse and equipment will be cleaned by members with detergent and disinfectant after each Sewing Bee.
